Welcome to the February Newsletter

2015 is well under way. We have had political turmoil surrounding the leadership. Australia has already had an interest rate cut with another predicted as early as April and our national debt is on a ‘crisis trajectory’ at around 15% of GDP.

We are in the midst of a property boom, at least in Sydney, that seems to keep going.

This Month I have included an article on 10 things to keep in mind when buying at auction.

According to some commentators, the longer we stay alive, the more burden we are on the national debt, so I have also included an article on living longer and living well.

International news this month is the new Government in Greece, who would like to renegotiate their bailout package and change the Austerity measures. We look at Michael Collins from Fidelity view of the Greek crisis.

When should we learn about Money and Finances? Wealthy families teach children about money from a very early age. The new school of thought for the rest of us is to get the kids involved in money and finances from an early age. We take a look at 4 tips to help get the children involved in everyday money issues.

Please be reminded to contact Gordon Hatch, gordon@taurusfinancial.com.au to review your Risk Insurance Cover and Mortgage Facilities to ensure that you and family are adequately protected and receiving the most competitive interest rate on your Mortgage.

If you have any family or friends who have recently migrated to Australia and need to establish Risk Insurance, Family Will and Mortgage Facilities to purchase a house, we would be most appreciative if you were to refer their contact details to us or refer them to The Taurus Group.

Hope you have a wonderful February and as usual we always enjoy your feedback.
